|100r Plop Slop and Drop, Push Drag and Pull||March 13, 2014 - March 27, 2014|
|In this 3 day workshop, students will be exposed to the wonderful elements of surprise as they add and subtract both objects and paint on their canvas. Students will learn how a variety of different mediums will change the colours of paint, and will be exposed to different kinds of texture and ways to add colour to paints. Students should plan to get messy.
Students should bring:
1 canvas for final work
Acrylic paints ( primary paint colors will do and may be purchased at Opus)
A variety of brush sizes and any objects that the student would like to incorporate into a painting.

|Learn how to use special needles to create a two dimensional piece of art with wool fibres. Be introduced to the many possibilities of creating three dimensional pieces.

|Come experience how easy it is to create unique sculptures with a simple t-shirt in a fun and intimate atmosphere. Class size is limited.
Paverpol is an eco-friendly, non-toxic textile hardener that hardens all kinds of natural materials into objects that can be used both indoors and outdoors! You'll go home at the end of the day with a completed piece of art.
What to bring: a white or light-coloured 100% cotton t-shirt, an apron and your lunch. All other materials and use of tools will be supplied while in class. You may also bring embellishments such as lace, trim, beads or jewelry. If making a sitting figure you might like to bring an object your sculpture will sit on.

|Create your masterpiece...Practically anything can be mosaicked! The look of stained glass but no glass cutting, or soldering required. All glass pieces have been tumbled to remove sharp edges. All materials supplied. We will use a non-toxic glue film and Glue & Grout all on the same day! Suitable for ages 10 & up.
Choice of Mosaic Trivit (used to put hot pots on) or picture frame. In this workshop you will mosaic a 5"x5" glass trivet. Glue & grout all on the same day

|Join Sarah for a fun afternoon of creating! We will complete 4 art projects in this 3 hour workshop. Learn to paint glass, create mixed media paintings, paint and plant a pot and explore recycled materials to create a surprise 'Earth Day' project.
All materials included. Please bring peanut free snack.

|Soul drawing is a simple yet profound printmaking process that creates an image through touch. Oil based paints and inks are applied to a plexi or glass surface, then transferred to rice paper resulting in a one-of-a-kind print unique to the maker. each image can be hand coloured to create a faux stained glass effect. A great class for all ages.
